Why did you join USG?
I joined USG because I want to create a fair and open platform for all students. After a year on campus, I have become passionate about bettering campus for everybody, and I am honored to be re-elected so I can carry on my initiatives.
What are you hoping to accomplish this year?
Currently, I have begun several new initiatives which I hope to finish if re-elected. First, I want to further access to fresh fruit by finding another compromise with Aramark to sell the fruit for a meal swipe. Second, I want to bring tissues into the bathrooms. Lastly, I want to continue correspondences with the director of Libraries for Fordham University to talk about bringing some source of coffee into Walsh Library. Moving forward, I want to also work towards implementing vending machines for feminine hygiene products such as tampons into both female and gender-neutral university bathrooms.
If you really knew me, you’d know that…
Before every test, I listen to “The Other Side” by Zac Efron and Hugh Jackman from The Greatest Showman.
What is your favorite quote?
“If it’s flipping hamburgers at McDonald’s, be the best hamburger flipper in the world. Whatever it is you do you have to master your craft.” – Snoop Dogg
